Latest files can be dowloaded from the anonymous svn:
Anyone can checkout, only developers can commit changes
You need an svn client like Tortoise SVN or any other client that can checkout the repository
You can also browse the repository with a web browser. IE browser is not very good for it, Firefox is much better.
SVN is updated very often, usually several times a day, and of cause some changes can break something or cause errors
If site stoppes working after getting latest files from SVN you can just wait till the new update.
The development site dev.sharedlog.com is automatically updated from the svn directory, so whatever new features or fixes you notice of the dev.sharedlog.com, you can be sure that these changes are in the svn
